~~Sorour Kasmai is a Francophone author of Iranian origin. She left her country a few years after the revolution. Arriving in Paris in 1983, she studied Russian language and literature. Passionate for the theater, she made it her specialty and her life’s work. Her first two novels, The Glass Cemetery and The Valley of Eagles were published by Actes Sud. She is also the managing editor of the “Persian Horizons” collection, which focuses on literature from Iran and Afghanistan.
