~The Big Book of Puberty is THE book that all parents must give their children (after reading it themselves) to help them get through this period of overwhelming physical and emotional changes.

Teachers always say it’s the age when students are the most difficult. And this is probably because they go through a period of profound changes in their bodies, minds, and emotions. Yet they are told so little about what is happening to them. At best, girls are told that they will have their period and boys are told they need to take showers… However, dozens of troubling questions arise at this age that most children don’t dare ask: how long are my breasts going to keep growing? Is my penis growing normally? How do you kiss someone? Where do these zits come from? What is the best way to shave? Why do I always feel like crying? Am I normal? This book is here to answer all these questions, because children will certainly feel better in their skin if they understand what is happening to them.
When puberty begins, the physical changes come first. And they are different for girls and boys. That is why this book is divided into three parts: the first part is for boys (voice changing, size of testicles, erection and ejaculation, intimate hygiene), the second for girls (breast development, body hair, period, knowing your interior sexual organs), and a final third part for common questions for both genders, especially concerning emotions and relationships (friendship, anger, desire, sexual awakening). This is the book we all would have liked to read when we were in middle school; the book we would have liked our parents to give us, that our brothers and sisters would have handed down to us. So, if you are a parent, read this book in order to better inform your children. But above all, let them read it on their own, at their own pace, so that they can find answers to their doubts, worries, and the questions they don’t dare ask you directly.
