An escape, a journey out of time, of two neglected children in search of recognition and some affection. A song of combined hope and childish innocence.
Baptiste is eleven years old. They call him “Moonface” because of his round head and his rather ungrateful physique. The child has never received any love. He has been living with the Leroys since a court ruling took him away from his former nanny, whom he considers his mother. Baptiste... Baptiste is eleven years old. They call him “Moonface” because of his round head and his rather ungrateful physique. The child has never received any love. He has been living with the Leroys since a court ruling took him away from his former nanny, whom he considers his mother. Baptiste has taken a liking to the very old dog of Eric, Fabienne Leroy's uncle, who lives in a neighboring house. Since his wife died, Eric has had trouble looking after himself. And Fabienne, who doesn't have the time to take care of him, has decided to place him in a retirement home. But what to do with the dog, the good old Clam ? Since he was separated from his master, Clam is letting himself die. So Baptiste, together with his girlfriend Salomé, decide to attempt the impossible: taking the old dog to see Eric in his retirement home, which is not too far, about thirty kilometers away... And here are the two children on the road, in the middle of the Millevaches plateau, alone, determined and full of hope.
