Régis Genté is a journalist reporting mainly on countries of the former Soviet Union. He works as a correspondent for some of France’s most respected media ranging from the radio channel RFI (Radio France Internationale) to the television channel France 24 and the newspaper Le Figaro. Living in Georgia for over 20 years, he has documented the upheavals of recent Ukrainian history, witnessing and reporting on all major events from the “Orange Revolution” in 2004 to the complex subject of transit pipelines for Russian gas, the conflict in the Donbas region and the Russian Invasion of February 2022.
Stéphane Siohan is a journalist working from Ukraine as a correspondent for the French newspapers Libération and Le Temps as well as for the French radio channel Radio France Internationale. Living in Ukraine since 2013, he reported on the Maidan uprising in 2013, the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 and the ensuing Donbas War. In 2019, he was a close witness to the ascension of future president Zelenskyy, meeting and interviewing him on numerous occasions. At the moment, he is reporting on the Russian invasion of Ukraine from Kyiv.
