Cédric Villani
Cédric Villani, médaille Fields 2010, est professeur à l’université de Lyon et membre de l’Académie des sciences. Spécialiste d’analyse mathématique, il a travaillé en théorie mathématique des gaz et des plasmas, ainsi qu’en géométrie non euclidienne. Il dirige l’IHP (CNRS/UPMC) depuis 2009. Il a écrit Théorème vivant (2013).
