Born on 11th October 1926 in Hué (Vietnam), Thich is ordained “thay” (monk) at 23. As of 1963, he fights against Vietnam War, travelling through United States, Europe and Asia. His peaceful struggle will make him Martin Luther King’s choice for the 1967 Nobel Peace Prize.

Now 94, Thich Nhat Hahn teaches the art of full consciousness and emphasizes watchfulness and attention. He lives in the Buddhist Center of Plum Village, in Thénac (Dordogne), which he launched in 1982, in order to deliver his teachings to the world.
