Albert Ogien is a sociologist, director of research at the CNRS, and director of the Institut Marcel-Mauss (CNRS-EHESS). He is notably the author of L’Esprit gestionnaire (EHESS, 1995), Les Règles de la pratique sociologique (PUF, 2007) and of Désacraliser le chiffre (Quaé, 2013).
Sandra Laugier is a philosophy professor at the Université Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne, a member of the Institut Universitaire de France, and director of the Centre de Philosophie Contemporaine at the Sorbonne. She recently published Wittgenstein, Les sens de l’usage (Vrin, 2009) and Tous vulnérables ? Le care, les animaux, l’environnement (Payot 2012). Ogien and Laugier together published, with La Découverte, Pourquoi désobéir en démocratie ? (2010).
