Sandrine Garcia is lecturer in sociology at the University of Paris-Dauphine and teacher-researcher IRISSO (Institute for interdisciplinary research in social sciences). Her research focuses on expertise and the mobilization of scientific knowledge in social struggles and/or public policy. At La Découverte, she published in 2011 Mères sous influence. De la cause des femmes à la cause des enfants. Her research currently focuses on the naturalization of social forms.
