Armand Delpierre was born in Versailles in 1970. He spent most of his childhood in Brittany, before settling in western Paris, where he currently lives. He has a passion for English literature, and his influences in the detective genre are George Pelecanos, Ian Rankin, and Michael Connelly. Like them, he blends detective fiction with social and political reality. Capital Sorrow is his second novel.
