Anne Coppel, a sociologist, is one of the pioneers in France and Europe of risk reduction policies towards drug users. She has published Le Dragon domestique, deux siècles d’histoire sur les drogues et l’Occident (Albin Michel, 1989) and at les éditions La Découverte, Peut-on civiliser les drogues ? De la guerre à la drogue à la réduction des risques (2002)
Olivier Doubre is a journalist for the weekly review: Politis. He has translated Brigate rosse, une histoire italienne (Amsterdam, 2010) and has published numerous articles on drug related issues (Vacarme, Swaps, Asud-Journal, Il Manifesto, etc.)
Together, in 2003, they coordinated the experience of participatory local democracy on problems associated with the drug in the neighborhood of Stalingrad, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.
