Anna returns to the town of her birth near Toulouse after living in Paris for fifteen years where she became involved in a toxic and profoundly damaging relationship and then took refuge in her work. One fine day, she simply decides to return home to become a baker. But a new ordeal awaits her there: a breast tumour is diagnosed and she has to undergo a partial mastectomy. During the chemotherapy sessions, she makes the acquaintance of a paediatric oncologist called Soren but Anna, feeling that she has lost a part of her feminine appeal, is afraid of embarking on a relationship. Gaspard, her childhood friend and a bookshop owner, encourages her to go and see Camille, who has just opened a tattoo parlour and with whom he is smitten. Camille is a widow, having lost her husband and also the baby she was carrying two years earlier. She has now decided to reserve her parlour one afternoon a week to women who have been ill-treated by life. For those few hours, her premises become a place for talking and sharing as she offers tattoos to cover the physical scars.
