Separated after thirty-five years of living together, Valérie Dousset is driven by the desire to succeed in her divorce. Above all, she wants to protect her (now adult) children, ease relations with her ex-husband, and create an atmosphere where everyone finds their place in this new family unit. As she couldn’t find a book to help her through what she thought she would never experience, she decided to write one with Isabelle: the project Haut les cœurs! was born. After years as a journalist, stay-at-home mom, cookbook editor, Valérie trained to become a marital and family counselor. Verdict: “It wasn’t enough to save my marriage, but it helped me succeed in my divorce.”

Currently an HR Director and Executive Coach, she supports companies in their HR strategy, and individuals in their professional and personal development.
